Dominant vs. Recessive phenotypes

Dominant phenotypes are the traits that are the most common while the recessive phenotypes are the traits that are less common. In the picture, the plant in the center is showing a dominant phenotype which is being a dark brown color while the plant next to it on the right is showing a recessive phenotype which is being a light brown color. The purpose of the phenotypes is to provide the population with diversity.
Tropic Level
The tropic level is an area of a location that depends on height and depending on the hight, different species live there even though they can be from the same family. In the picture, the insect lives near the bottom of the tropic level which is where most of the food is for the insect. The purpose of tropic levels is to provide the ecosystem with gene diversity.
Calvin Cycle

The calvin cycle is a cycle inside the plant that produces glucose for the plant to use as energy. In the picture, the bristles of the tree is producing glucose via calvin cycle to fuel the tree and allow it to grow. The purpose of the calvin cycle is provide the plant with a sugar that can be used as energy for it to grow.
Stamen
Stamen are the male organ in the flower for fertilization. In the picture, the orange flowers have their stamens exposed in the center. The purpose of the stamen is to allow insects to pollenate and help create seeds for the flower to spread via seed dispersal.
Introduced Species

Introduced species are species that have been recently added to a location. In the picture, the plant present has been introduced into the local park in my area. The purpose of the introduction of species is to help spread biodiversity which then allows for better production of energy.
Exoskeleton
An exoskeleton is a rigid external part of the body that acts as protection and provides support to the organism. In the picture, the moths have exoskeletons which protects them from their surroundings. The purpose of exoskeletons is to help insects daily from allowing them to move to helping them have some defense for their frail bodies.
Invasive Species

Invasive species are species that are not native to the area but is growing in the area. In the picture, what looks like the flower dame’s rockets have grown in the are but is drooping. Invasive species are harmful to any environment as they can alter the environment around them.
Adaptation of An Animal
Animals adapt to their surroundings in order to live in a better suited environment. In the picture, a spider has adapted to the tree branch, creating a cobweb and made it its home. The purpose of an animal’s adaptation is to allow it to survive within its environment and to produce offspring for the next generation.
Population

Population is the amount of a species within a given location. In the picture, the population of the flowers in the location is large. The large population allows for genetic diversity among the flowers.
